Q: Professor Niraj Jha, AI is doing mainly correlation, when do you think we will add a more abstract layer with more reasoning capability (like our brain does). And Could Edge AI leverage the AI-reasoning applications, specifically in healthcare?
Q: When thinking of computers and Artificial Intelligence it is tempting to compare them to how our brain works, however, unlike the human brain, deep neural networks (DNNs), need large amounts of data and computational resources for training. What is your approach to this challenge?
Q: At NeuTigers and thanks to your work we have been able to combine wearable medical sensors and machine learning to track and diagnose physiological signals of disease and mental health conditions. We are currently awaiting FDA approval for our smartwatch-based COVID-19 screening solution and we are working on various conditions including Sickle Cell, Diabetes, and mental health. What is the role of Edge-AI in interpreting sensors data?
Q: Many of the remote patient monitory solution vendors we work with are coming to us for our risk analytic product. How is data mining different from AI in helping understand the health risk profiles of a particular population?
Q: How will the 5G and 6G network provide new opportunities for Edge-AI, and what are the security issues? There are already 50 billion connected devices and we are talking of 80 billion by 2025. Q: So, Edge-AI is basically AI for the Internet of Things, like smartwatches and industrial monitoring sensors. We’re already living in a hyper-connected world with 50 billion connected devices. New networks such as the 5G and 6G promise to connect more devices faster. What are the new risks in terms of security and privacy and can you talk about your edge AI innovative solutions in cyber security?
